The Planning and Lands Administrator (PLA) is responsible for two important activities of the municipality: community planning and land administration. This course is an introduction to Planning and Land Administration. Land Administration 1

Land Administrator 2 is designed to build on the material learned in Land Administrator 1. The objective of this course is to provide an understanding of the land development process, land pricing, lease enforcement and general environmental management tools such as quarry management and land use permits, along with the documents, procedures, and research needed to manage land effectively at the community level. Topics include The Process of Land Development, The Price of Land, Managing Revenue From Lands, Property Taxation and Assessment, and Environmental Management.
